When Mum & I wanted to go away together for the first time in 10 years to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday, our first concern was the care of our dogs! Mum's 14 year old Labrador has had 3 strokes and is partially blind. We didn't feel a stay in a kennel would do much for her health. It is difficult to find someone who really cares about animals is trustworthy and conscientious too. Cheryl is all these things and more. You could not wish for anyone better to look after your treasured pets. We left her looking after three English Setter dogs, two ducks, six chickens, two blue and gold macaws and a tortoise. She was brilliant and managed them all with much love and attention and kept me informed when she needed too all very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble and she looked after the homestead as if it was her own everywhere was as we had left it. Cheryl has been so brilliant I can't tell you how glad we are that we found her. Cheryl does what we know as "pop in's" for my 2 lurchers, she will pop in for 1/2 hour or so, let out the dogs and play with them in the garden and give them lots of cuddles. Taz & Meg (the dogs) absolutely love her and Cheryl always leaves a detailed report of them both so I know how they are, she does this because Meg has a respiritory problem and I always worry about her breathing, however Cheryl is always quick to call me if she is concerned about anything. I would highly recommend Cheryl to anybody who is looking for a pet sitter either live in or just for "pop in's".

It was really unlucky for us all that Bella was taken ill on our first night away, however you managed the situation very well and kept us posted throughout the night and the following days. We were both very distressed to know that she was ill but were confident that you would do all that was needed and were able to relax, knowing that you were in control of the situation. I really appreciated the reassuring text messages you sent. I also found it very helpful to know that you were telling me all that was happening and not keeping anything from me – had I felt that you were ‘holding back’, I would have worried myself silly!
